Announcing the Recipients of the TEPHINET COVID-19 Emergency Capacity Building Grants for Field Epidemiology Training Programs

TEPHINET is pleased to announce the recipients of our COVID-19 Emergency Capacity Building Grants. TEPHINET-member Field Epidemiology Training Programs (FETPs) could apply for these awards in support of eligible non-research activities to strengthen their COVID-19 response and build capacity for response to future pandemics. The maximum amount awarded was $20,000 (USD) per level of FETP (basic/Frontline, intermediate, or advanced).

Examples of activities that were considered eligible for grant funding included training, mentorship, and evaluation activities; epidemiologic investigations of conditions of public health importance (including procurement of supplies, such as personal protective equipment or laboratory reagents); and procurement of software for data analysis in support of an investigation.
