Claire Jennings, MA
Ms. Jennings manages a portfolio of projects primarily related to non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and learning. As one of its three main program focus areas, Ms. Jennings is leading TEPHINET's learning strategy development process in addition to managing individual projects. She joined TEPHINET with more than ten years of project and program development and management experience in various international development sectors. She has previously worked on projects in the Americas and East African regions and at the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), focusing on gender and ethnicity mainstreaming in PAHO and member countries. She started out as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama, where she developed her passion for adult learning and capacity building, intercultural competency development, economic development, human rights, and environmental/sustainability issues. She holds a BBA from the University of Georgia and an MA in comparative and international development education from the University of Minnesota.
