Everlyne Omwenga, MA

Temporary Project Coordinator

Everlyne Omwenga joins TEPHINET following assignments supporting social services initiatives with various international and nongovernmental entities, and also has over a decade with the US Department of State in Iraq and Kenya. Her assignment in Iraq saw her supervising the implementation of a unique, congressionally-mandated refugee program, which resettled over 2,000 internally displaced persons annually. Her role in TEPHINET involves coordinating strategic planning processes and monitoring progress towards achieving project goals. She has substantial experience in project management, policy-focused coordination, contract monitoring and implementation of federal global initiatives. Everlyne has a Master of Arts in International Conflict Management from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
