Launching on World Field Epidemiology Day: Webinar Series on Scientific Publishing for Field Epidemiologists

During the month of September 2021, TEPHINET and the Western Pacific Surveillance and Response Journal (WPSAR) are co-hosting a four-webinar series on scientific publishing for field epidemiologists. While field epidemiologists are provided with a “tool kit” of methodologies to investigate and respond to public health situations, less emphasis is placed on publishing the results of their work, despite a large proportion of field epidemiologists expressing interest in academic publishing (90% according to a recent TEPHINET survey). This webinar series aims to provide field epidemiologists with the tools, motivation, and inspiration to publish their work.
