Mini-grants: Measuring the Timeliness of Outbreak Detection and Reporting

Project objective: To award small grants (mini-grants) to trainees of field epidemiology training programs in order to evaluate the surveillance systems of their countries or regions and estimate the time it would take for public health officials to act, from outbreak start to reporting and response.
