Outbreak News Today is a new health and disease “magazine” news website focused on the latest news and information pertaining to infectious diseases. Non- communicable diseases and other health news is also covered. The website breaks down the latest news by area of the globe for easy searching.

ProMED-mail is an Internet-based reporting system dedicated to rapid global dissemination of information on outbreaks of infectious diseases and acute exposures to toxins that affect human health, including those in animals and in plants grown for food or animal feed. Electronic communications enable ProMED to provide up-to-date and reliable news about threats to human, animal, and food plant health around the world, seven days a week.

HealthMap, a team of researchers, epidemiologists and software developers at Boston Children's Hospital founded in 2006, is an established global leader in utilizing online informal sources for disease outbreak monitoring and real-time surveillance of emerging public health threats. The freely available Web site 'healthmap.org' and mobile app 'Outbreaks Near Me' deliver real-time intelligence on a broad range of emerging infectious diseases for a diverse audience including libraries, local health departments, governments, and international travelers.

WHO Disease Outbreak News is an integrated global alert and response system for epidemics and other public health emergencies based on strong national public health systems and capacity and an effective international system for coordinated response.

CDC Current Outbreak List displays infectious disease outbreaks currently being reported on by CDC. Listings include those outbreaks for which content is currently published on the CDC website.

Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) is the CDC's primary vehicle for scientific publication of public health information and recommendations. The data in the weekly MMWR are based on weekly reports to CDC by state health departments.

ECDC Communicable Disease Threat Report is a weekly bulletin for epidemiologists and health professionals on active public health threats.
