The School of Public Health at the University of Cape Town, in partnership with the International Epidemiological Association (IEA), will host the 23rd World Congress of Epidemiology from 24-27 September 2024 (WCE2024). This is the first time the meeting will be held on the African continent and the Cape Town International Convention Centre provides a world-class setting. WCE is well-known for bringing epidemiologists, public health experts and health policy makers working in different sectors together in an atmosphere designed to promote dialogue, the interchange of ideas, and state-of-the-art scientific research.
