The TEPHINET Secretariat announced today that it will hold the next TEPHINET Global Scientific Conference from October 28 to November 1, 2019, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Despite being based in Atlanta, this is the first time TEPHINET will have its global conference in this city, which is home to TEPHINET's parent organization, The Task Force for Global Health, as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (TEPHINET's primary funder) and several other public health organizations.

TEPHINET global conferences are opportunities for members and partners of our vast network of field epidemiology training programs (and other public health experts) to convene and share knowledge and experiences related to the public health issues facing their countries. In the coming months, we will publish a call for scientific abstracts and launch the conference website where participants can find more information.
