World Field Epidemiology Day (#WorldFieldEpidemiologyDay) is a global movement to recognize and raise awareness of the vital role of field epidemiologists in protecting the health of populations and advancing global health security, and to advocate for increased investment in field epidemiology training, research, and professionals.

We invite you to join World Field Epidemiology Day through action, communication and advocacy. If you believe that every country in the world should have effective field epidemiology capacity to safeguard and promote the health of its citizens, then become an official partner.  Share your work, organize an event, and call on leaders to take action.  Visit worldepidemiolgyday.org to find communication resource and social media toolkit.

Our theme for 2023 is Increasing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Field Epidemiology.  Share your stories with us!  Using personal examples, let us know why increasing diversity and equity in field epidemiology is vital for public health.  Email secretariat@tephinet.org with the subject line "My story for World Field Epidemiology Day." Text, photos, and videos are all welcome.
