The TEPHINET Advisory Scientific Committee is accepting concept notes for Interactive Learning Sessions (ILS) to be presented at the 10th TEPHINET Global Scientific Conference being held from October 28-November 1, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
What is an Interactive Learning Session (ILS)?
Similar to a workshop, an interactive learning session (ILS) is a facilitated session with clear learning objectives and opportunities for learner engagement with the material being presented.

How to Apply
Please submit a concept note (in English) at the above link before the deadline.
Important Dates
- Deadline to submit a concept note: April 15, 2019
- Notification of concept note acceptance or rejection: April 30, 2019
Review Process
The decision about acceptance or rejection of ILS proposals will be made by the TEPHINET Advisory Scientific Committee in consultation with the Planning Committee, taking into account several factors including overall quality, relevance, suitability for the conference, and venue capacity.
Funding
The cost of hosting an ILS is $8,000 for a full-day session and $4,000 for a half-day session. The feasibility of hosting a particular ILS is contingent upon securing funding. TEPHINET strongly encourages ILS organizers to seek external funding and sponsorships.
