Peggy Defay, MPH
Ms. Defay has worked in different capacities in North America, Southern, East, and Central Africa on projects related to HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment, workforce development, homelessness, and sexual and reproductive health.
Before joining TEPHINET, she was assigned to the Division of Global Health Protection (DGHP) and later to the Division of Global HIV and TB (DGHT) with CDC Cameroon. While with the CDC, she supported the implementation of different training activities for the Cameroon Field Epidemiology Training Program (CAFETP) and later joined the CDC DGHT team, where she provided programmatic support to assess the quality of HIV/AIDS services for CDC-PEPFAR funded sites.
As a TEPHINET project manager, she continues to use skills acquired through her years of experience to manage different projects dedicated to strengthening the public health workforce worldwide.
