Dr Qi Gao is an epidemiologist who obtained her medical training and postgraduate training at Tianjin Medical University and the National University of Singapore. She is currently the deputy director of the Singapore Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) network and senior epidemiologist at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases, Singapore. Undertaking communicable disease surveillance and risk assessment, her interests cover outbreak management, field epidemiology and pandemic preparedness.
