Register for Our 1st World Field Epidemiology Day Webinar: Celebrating Our Public Health Disease Detectives

In honor of the first World Field Epidemiology Day on September 7, TEPHINET is hosting a two-hour virtual webinar featuring field epidemiologists and public health leaders around the globe sharing insights about the complex, life-saving work they do, and the vital role that Field Epidemiology Training Programs (FETPs) play in ensuring global health security.

The past year has brought unprecedented visibility to the work of field epidemiologists as the world has fought COVID-19, but this visibility has not always resulted in understanding the importance of field epidemiology, nor in the increased support needed to strengthen public health systems around the globe to better detect and respond to outbreaks.

We invite you to join us on World Field Epidemiology Day to celebrate the work of field epidemiologists and their contribution to public health. View the event details below to learn how to register, or join us through action, communication and advocacy. If you are not able to attend the webinar, we encourage you to share your work and your stories online, and call on leaders to take action. Together, we can make a strong case for increased support and investment in field epidemiology for the health and security of the world.
