
Riris Andono Ahmad

Riris Andono Ahmad is a senior lecturer and researcher in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Population Health, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing (FMPHN) at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in Indonesia. Riris is a medical doctor with additional training in epidemiology and public health. His research interest is in communicable disease control, including tuberculosis, HIV, malaria and dengue, particularly understanding disease dynamics, disease control strategies and implementation research on disease control interventions. Currently, he is the director of the Center for Tropical Medicine at UGM. He is also the coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Tropical Medicine and the Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP).
