Shaiana Oliveira, MPH

Project Coordinator

Shaiana Oliveira is a Project Coordinator for TEPHINET, supporting a portfolio of projects focused on reducing the global burden of healthcare-associated infections, antimicrobial resistance, and COVID-19. Prior to joining TEPHINET, she was an ORISE Fellow at CDC/ATSDR supporting the implementation of 'Choose Safe Places', a project aimed at preventing harmful chemical exposures in children after disasters. As an ORISE fellow, she coordinated work plans, budget redirections, performance measures, and also provided technical support to local jurisdictions. 

She holds a bachelor of arts (BA) in Psychology from Georgia State University, and a master of public health (MPH) with a concentration in global environmental health from Emory University.
