Shanti Bazouma, MPH
Ms. Bazouma works as a Senior Project Support Specialist with TEPHINET, focusing on tracking and organizing key data to support TEPHINET’s monitoring and evaluation goals. Prior to serving as a Data Support Specialist, she managed the abstract submission and review process for TEPHINET's scientific conferences. She also supported a variety of projects throughout Latin America focused on Zika research. Previously, she worked as a Project Coordinator for the Emory University School of Nursing, assisting in the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV in West Africa. She holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Georgia with a concentration in epidemiology. She is passionate about public health, healthy living, and nutrition. She enjoys traveling, exploring nature, cooking healthy meals, and learning languages.
