Have you deployed via GOARN, the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network, to respond to a public health emergency? If so, TEPHINET and GOARN invite you to share your GOARN story as part of a campaign to raise awareness of the network and the people behind outbreak response in honor of GOARN’s 20th anniversary, which will take place on April 28, 2020—the date of the inception of GOARN at a meeting of partners in Geneva, Switzerland.

Former GOARN deployees can submit stories at the following link: https://extranet.who.int/goarn/iamgoarn

TEPHINET is proud to participate in the GOARN 2020 campaign having been longtime partner of GOARN on international outbreak response and training. In the past 20 years, GOARN has become an essential actor in managing health emergencies, deploying more than 2,900 experts to more than 90 countries to support outbreak needs worldwide. Many of these deployees have been Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) alumni from across our global network. This campaign aims to bring to life the stories of these individuals to raise awareness of the impact of GOARN and its partners on public health worldwide.

You can participate in the GOARN 2020 campaign on social media using the following hashtags: #GOARN, #IamGOARN, #WeAreGOARN, #OneWorldOneResponse
