Support to the Central Asia Regional Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Program
Project Objective
TEPHINET will provide logistical support for the two-year Central Asia Regional Field Epidemiology Training Program (CAR-FELTP) in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan so that FELTP residents from these countries are able to complete FELTP core competencies and successfully graduate from the program.
Support will include facilitation of FELTP training and/or planned studies in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Logistical support includes venue arrangement, travel arrangements, and reimbursement of travel expenses, reproduction of materials, purchase of necessary laboratory and other supplies and equipment, support for field activities, travel of residents to international conferences, recruitment of residents for the new FELTP cohort, provision of suitable office spaces (when needed) and interpretation.
