Advancing Health Equity through Collaboration and Training

“Health equity is achieved when everyone can attain their full potential for health and well-being, and no one is disadvantaged from achieving this potential because of social position or other socially determined circumstances.” (CDC)

The pandemic has accentuated disparities in vaccine delivery, access to essential services, and the structures of health systems. Through partnerships, collaboration and training, TEPHINET and FETPs around the world are working to provide access to health services for all, promoting equity and diversity in the health workforce, build community capacity to withstand public health threats, and ensure care for vulnerable populations.

In our 2021 Annual Report, we highlight just a few of the ways that the global FETP network is addressing health equity.
