Lesson: Practical Ethics for Veterinarians
Overview
This curriculum is intended to provide training in ethics for frontline veterinarians, who serve as either animal health or public health officers. It includes an introduction to bioethical principles, a description of common ethical challenges for frontline field veterinarians, and case studies for discussion.

- A supplemental document ("Case Scenarios") with additional information about case studies
Developers
This curriculum was developed as part of the In-Service Applied Veterinary Epidemiology Training (ISAVET) in partnership with the Focus Area for Compassion in Ethics (FACE), Training Programs in Epidemiology and Public Health Interventions Network (TEPHINET), both at the Task Force for Global Health, as well as the ISAVET development team that includes the Texas A&M Institute for Infectious Animal Diseases, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
