Summary

This highly interactive course introduces key concepts of improving processes, based on international standards of quality and organizational excellence. It is recommended that participants attend the class in teams, with a mandate to improve an existing process. When participants complete this course they will be able to:

  • Create a flowchart to illustrate a process
  • Measure the performance of a process
  • Use a methodical approach to analyze a performance problem
  • Create a cause/effect diagram to determine the reasons for a problem
  • Design and measure improvement  

This course includes a participant workbook, facilitator guide and PowerPoint presentation.

Estimated course length: 1.5 days
