Summary

This workshop uses examples from participants' experiences to explore tools to resolve conflicts and prevent them from occurring to begin with.

When participants complete this session they will be able to:

  • Identify common causes of conflict Recognize conflicting priorities within a work team
  • Use productive strategies to resolve conflict
  • Describe ways to prevent conflict.

This course includes a participant workbook, facilitator's guide and PowerPoint presentation.

Estimated course length: 2 hours

Target audience: Anyone who is leading a team or supervising staff. Any public health professional could also benefit.
